Ubisoft is moving in all directions
A short time ago Ubisoft announced the cancellation of several major games and the postponement of other titles, including Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and an unannounced title that wouldn’t be so secret after all.
According to a source close to the matter, the game would be none other than the next Assassin’s Creed, codenamed Riftwhich should be a spin-off taking place in Baghdad and would focus on infiltration. While Ubisoft still hasn’t said anything official about the game, rumors suggested that the software should be released by early 2023, except that as it stands, it would finally be shifted to May-June and would therefore change the fiscal year.
On the other hand, the reasons for such a postponement remain a mystery. We only know thatUbisoft has been doing a lot of spring cleaning lately and cancelling or postponing its games in all directions, when it does not close the servers of its old titles.
Now, a question remains: what is going on in the French publisher’s offices?
