On the occasion of its first anniversary, which is coming very soon, Kena: Bridge of Spirits will welcome new content and will be available on Steam.

Until now, the Epic Games Store has held, and still holds, PC exclusivity on the Ember Lab title. It will only be from September 27 next that he will lose it, when Kena: Bridge of Spirits will join Steam.

An update on the occasion of the first anniversary

On the same date, the game will offer new content with the deployment of an update. The update is designed to celebrate the first anniversary in style and will include new modes. On the one hand, there will be the New Game +, which will allow you to go back to the adventure while keeping all the skills you acquired during a previous game. An ideal configuration for a second path, which, as announced, will propose a difficulty revised upwards.

Then, on the other hand, Ember Lab will add to its creation a set of challenges, which, when completed, will provide different additional outfits. And that’s not all, among the contributions, we will have not only a new and improved photo mode but also new charm stones.

Here are the details of what we will be offered:

  • New Game+ – Begin a new adventure after completing the game, starting with all your abilities, upgrades and rots as you face new combat encounters, challenges and unique enemies.
  • Spirit Guide Trials – Hone your skills and unlock rewards in trials including: Wave defenses, obstacle courses, and the ability to face key boss fights over and over again.
  • Outfits – Unlock new outfits for Kena by mastering the trials.
  • Charm Stones – Discover charm stones that can be equipped with different advantages and disadvantages to customize your play style.
  • Enhanced photo mode: more fun poses, unique lighting and even a mobile camera!
  • Kena: Bridge of Spirits is released on September 21, 2021 for PS5, PS4 and PC (Epic Games Store).
