Two Point Campus: a release date postponed by three months

The college campus management game has postponed its release date on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Switch to offer a similar optimized version for all media.

Planned on all media on the planet, PC, Mac, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Switch, with release on PC and Xbox Game Pass, Two Point Campus will make its fans wait a few more months. Indeed, the simulation game of a university campus erased the date of May 17 to announce itself to the August 9, 2022.

A big postponement therefore, for the “suite” of Two Point Hospital, an independent creation in homage to the excellent and very barred Theme Hospital. In a developer video, the team reconsiders its motivations around the production of this new game, with some sequences of new gameplay. Mark Webley, the game director, explains:

Our ambition from the start has been to release Two Point Campus simultaneously on PC and consoles, with the level of quality that our community expects. For that, we need a little more time to make sure that Two Point Campus is the best possible game regardless of the game platform. We are going to take advantage of these three additional months to optimize Two Point Campus on all media.

The team also explains on this blog post and announces that even if the game is postponed, the overall vision is unchanged. So much the better.
