WRC Generations and GreedFall 2 join Nacon’s strong line-up

Two new games were presented on the occasion of the 5th Big Ben Week last week. This major event for the French group was an opportunity for its independent publishing subsidiary Nakon to unveil its already substantial line-up.

GreedFall 2 and WRC Generations announced and dated

On the one hand, the new internal studio Spiders has revealed GreedFall 2, the sequel to the album that sold 2 million copies.

Continuing the process begun on the first opus, GreedFall 2 is an RPG that particularly values ​​choice and storytelling but offers new, more tactical combat gameplaywhile reconnecting with the unique universe created for its predecessor.

The story begins three years before the events of the first part. This time you play as a native of Teer Fradee forcibly torn from his island to be taken to Gacane, the land of the settlers. You must then regain your freedom by using your words or your fists. Jehanne Rousseau, founder of the studio, announces new companions and new factions but specifies to always have Steelrising as main project for the moment. GreedFall 2 is slated for 2024 on PC and consoles.

On the other, KT Racing unveiled the next WRC, with WRC Generations, which will be released on October 13. The official game of the FIA ​​World Rally Championship will return to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, PC and Switch. The publisher announces the largest WRC simulation ever offered with an unequaled level of realism. Great novelty of the competition and the game this year, the presence of hybrid engines. In total, no less than 37 legendary vehicles will be available, in addition to the 13 championship countries, 9 other environments and 165 stages.

A big line-up for Nacon

Nacon also took the opportunity to make its annual report. After acquiring 9 studios in three years, including the latest Midgar and Daedalic Entertainment, the company has grown to 16 internal offices. In addition to the purchase of the RIG brand for its gaming headsets, the weight of Nacon increases. The studio goes from 113 million euros in turnover in 2019 to nearly 156 today.

The studio has thus detailed its next releases and all the games currently in development, in detail. As for action games and RPGs, Steelrising will release the September 8 and is unveiled with a new story trailer.

Sports side, postponed several times, Blood Bowl III is also announced this year by Cyanide. The two usual cycling games, Tour de France 2022 and Pro Cycling Manager 2022 will arrive on June 9 next. Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is postponed to 2023.

Finally, for the simulation, we will soon find the new opus of the Nacon Life franchisewith Chef Life: A Restaurant Simulator on October 6, 2022. Of course, all the peripheral outputs are added, such as the DAIJA Arcade Stick for the end of the year on Xbox and PS5 or the news PRO Series range of RIG helmets in 2022.
