It seems that the identity of the next character to join the roster of Marvel’s Avengers has leaked. And we are not dealing with just anyone.
It all happened during an official Xbox stream. The host of the live stream, answering to the name Techniq, welcomed the new lead designer of Marvel’s Avengers, Brian Waggoner. The goal was to introduce the latest character added on June 28, Jane Foster aka Mighty Thor. However, a big mistake was made and it did not go unnoticed.
The fun fact that kills
Our dear Techniq indeed wanted to tell a little anecdote about She-Hulk while not knowing if he had the right or not. Finally, he reveals that his acting teacher is none other than the voice of the heroine. He did not reveal his name, as he obviously began to realize that none of this was known to the general public. The discomfort was, in fact, read on Waggoner’s face. It’s understandable.
The lead designer calmly replied that no such announcement had been made, although the studio is indeed working on a new character:
We’re working on our next hero, but we haven’t said who it is yet. There will be a time dedicated to that, but right now we’re focused on celebrating the team’s work on Jane.
A somewhat evasive answer suggesting that it is indeed the green woman who will soon join Marvel’s Avengers team.
She-hulk’s finest hour
2022 seems to be the year of She-Hulk. Indeed, in addition to this crisp information given by mistake, we must not forget that a Disney+ series centered around this character is also approaching. The latter is called “She-Hulk: Lawyer” and will be released on August 17, 2022. It’s safe to say that fans are in for a treat.
